Amazingant it sounds like you are new to the game and as you are finding out storage is a tough problem for all of us. Right now you are in the beginning of the game what you need to learn now is the value of the stuff you pick up. Most of the white items you get in the beginning of the game you should probably salvage for crafting supplies to make your armors with, the rest you should trade away or sell to merchant unless it is something you would use yourself. You will find as you progress thru the game the items you find get better and better so the stuff you are keeping now turns out to be pretty crappy in comparison, so it is best to get rid of everything you don't use in the beginning of the game. As time goes by you will get a better grasp of how the game works good luck in your adventures. And to everyone else keep complaining about storage we need more.

I only hope Arena.Net does a better job of finding them than Battle.net Storage space is limited for a reason, to enforce and back-up a stable trading community. Quote:

In reply to Trixor above i totally agree about not using mules and as you can see in my reply to Amazingant i advocate trading, selling or salvageing almost all items. The issue here is that the original storage was designed for 4 characters now some of us have added Factions thats 2 more characters and Anet has said that they are going to start selling character slots this summer and the addition of a third chapter is coming this winter. I also agree with your statement concerning server load but that is already a major problem now. You have probably seen the announcement that 2 million copies of Guild Wars have been sold. The problem of server overload is an Anet problem and Anet is expanding on that problem themselves all the time. With the popularity of Guild Wars growing all the time Anet is going to have grow with the game or the game will become unplayable. So the server load issue is something i'm not going to worry about. Besides it was Anet who said they would fix the storage issue so i trust that it will eventually happen. I have to applaude Anet with thier efforts in keeping up with the game issues so far.

I agree that too much storage is a bad thing, i mean that would severly mess up the economy. Now i dont know what this would do to the servers, but a solution would be the ability to take off bags with items in them. That would mean 1 bag(10 spaces) full of 10 bags(10 spaces) and they could have more bags, or some items. With just those bags, that an extra 100 spaces right there.

i could see it now puting a bag inside a bag inside a bag inside a bag, creating infinite storage. terrible idea u dont need 2000 slots of storage, keep wat u need sell the rest.

What's wrong with using a character as a mule? At least that way I get something for buying factions- a new ranger in prophesies and a factions mule. Those 2 new char. slots are yours to do with what you wish, and factions "maze-running" gets boring after 20 minutes.
